Authentic 09 was amazing! Some say it was the best camp ever! Of course I agree... Jason Moping and Levi Pancake did a wonderful job of bringing the word to out students. For the first time Authentic felt like it was its own brand, its own camp that belonged to the community of believers in Fort Myers. I couldn't even distinguish what church most kids went to! I hope that all the students who made life changing decisions hold strong through the summer and change their world when school starts i the fall!

Camp week! Can't you tell. . . Yes it has been large iced coffees all week! Lots to do and gratefully lots of help! The office is getting busier everyday as interns make videos and high schoolers come in to help! I can't wait for next week!! God always does amazing things in the lives of our students at camp!

I have serious updating issues.... Promise This week for sure!

I'm just people watching in Starbucks while I wait to go to class. Have you ever been in a coffee shop and realized how many people have no idea what they are doing?!? It surprises me that with a Starbucks on every corner that the general public would still not understand how to order a nonfat latte or an iced mocha. I watch as person after person steps up to the counter looking at the menu replies..." I'm not sure what I want..." As if they had not been standing in a line half out the door for the past 10 minutes looking at the same menu. I love drinking coffee and making coffee, but I am pretty sure I would not have the patience to work at Starbucks!

































Well here is a lesson for all of you out there hanging your heads saying...thats me!?!

Latte - espresso with steamed milk and a little foam

Cappuccino - espresso with a little steamed milk and a lot of foam

"Frappucchino" - Blended ice latte

Add a flavor to any of them choose a size and tell them if you want it hot or cold.....
It really isn't brain science....
